1. Information We Collect
BrightBridge may collect the following information while you use the service:
- **Account information**: phone number, email, name;
- **Profile information**: role (parent / teacher / other), city, child age range, affiliated institution;
- **Registration information**: event registration forms you submit;
- **Usage information**: access logs, IP address, device type, browser information;
- **Check-in information**: timestamp generated when you scan the on-site QR code or when staff register you on-site.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide core features such as event registration, check-in, and content recap;
- Send activity-related notifications via SMS or email;
- Improve product experience and service quality;
- Disclose information as required by laws or government authorities.
3. Information Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:
- With your explicit consent;
- With trusted third-party service providers (such as SMS gateways, email services, object storage), strictly limited to delivering essential features;
- Where required by law.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and correct your personal information;
- Cancel registrations / delete comments (within the self-delete window);
- Request export or deletion of all your data by contacting operations.
5. Regulatory Compliance
This service is provided to users in Canada and mainland China:
- Canadian users: subject to PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act);
- Mainland China users: subject to the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) and the Data Security Law.
6. Anonymous Device Identification
To help associate multiple autism screenings made on the same device (browser) — for example, repeated assessments of the same child or cumulative evaluations across different tools — we generate an anonymous "Device ID" (UUID v4) on your first visit to the screening pages and store it in cookie + localStorage.
- This ID contains no name, phone number, email, or any other identifiable information about you;
- It is used solely by operations to aggregate screening history per device and optimize follow-up;
- Retention is approximately one year (browser-side); you can reset it any time by clicking the "Clear my device ID" button at the bottom of this page — your next visit will receive a fresh ID.
Clearing only severs future linkage; previously generated screening records (kept for audit and operational needs) are not deleted at the same time. For deletion requests, please contact operations.
